It’s also important to do a bit of homework on responses via your contact form:
- How many times has it been filled in?
- Where did the person who filled out the form come from?
- If your business relies on lead generation, it’s critical that you test and measure. So what tools can you use to track this?
You can use Google Analytics to discover how the person who filled in your form came to be on your website. This can help you understand if your marketing is working. Maybe they clicked on a link in your email, or clicked on a Google Ad, however they found you, you should be measuring it because what gets measured, gets managed
If you find you’re getting too much spam, then you need to make sure you have a CAPTCHA on your form. That’s the little box that says “I am not a robot”.
Your website is a marketing tool for your business and it needs to be earning you money not costing you money!
If you need help measuring your website leads, then get in touch and we’ll help your business succeed online.
