How to test your website load time on mobile

Most sites lose half their visitors while loading – don’t let that be your site

When it comes to mobile pages, speed and size matter. We must keep customers engaged on mobile and focus on building mobile-first experiences. You can see how your site scores on mobile friendliness and mobile page speed with Google’s Test My Site tool.

Did you know, the average time it takes to fully load a mobile web page is 22 seconds – yes, really! Yet 53% of visits are abandoned (what is known as a “page bounce’)  if a mobile page takes longer than 3 seconds to load.

That’s a huge problem for slow sites and something you need to tackle if you don’t want to lose out to your competitors.

We’re amazed that in 2019 we’re still seeing new websites launching that are lacking in speed (or security for that matter!) having been a critical and driving consideration.

How much business could your website be losing you due to slow site speed?  Book a FREE 30-minute call with us and we will run a few tests and offer some ideas to help you with your website.
