From 30th October 2019, Facebook will remove the verified grey tick from business pages.

  • Categories

    • help future clients find you in search by adding up to three categories that perfectly describe your line of work
  • Photo and cover

    • Make sure the profile photo is good quality and recognisable as your business – a logo is ideal
    • Video, video, video – if you have a brand video, use it here as it maximises engagement more than a static cover
  • Website address

    • Make sure you’ve added the link in Settings > Page Info – helps to drive website traffic
  • General contact details

    • Address (if you have a physical location) – telephone number – opening hours.
  • Get the word out

    • Turn on recommendations and encourage people to follow your page
